This exhibition arises in the context of the Art as Research Seminar, which is being held in the Sala Rekalde during the 2017-18 academic year on a monthly basis. The aim of this Seminar is to explore the research dimension of the artistic practice. And in the same way that the seminar is not conceived as a space where to transmit previous knowledge, but rather where to enter into a situation of creating it, this exhibition is not conceived as an exhibition of works of art, nor as an exhibition of the results of a concluded investigation.

We understand the exhibition hall as a place for the expansion and intensification of the work of the seminar. A place where to process, show, debate, the possibilities and dilemmas offered by art, understanding it as research. The room will be hosting the records that the different actions generate throughout the two weeks planned. In this way, the artistic research, while open doors, will take up the time of the exhibition.
