laSIA presents in the edition of Montanha Mágica * 2019 its small-scale Serantes Seminar project.
The Serantes Seminar combines an interest in the mountain as a symbolic enclave in the landscape, with the exercise of research from the practice of art; The latter being a fundamental issue for laSIA, this exhibition should be understood not as a set of artistic pieces, but as a way of exhibiting (to open to the discussion) an artistic investigation that is still in process.
The Seminar is composed by a part of the members of the laSIA group, plus other artists, doctoral students, and professors interested in this line of work initiated as a result of the relationship with Montanha Mágica *. The project is developed as a collaborative experience, although in no case are individual exercises avoided.
